My journey

Born in Southern California and raised in the Bay Area, I moved overseas at the formative age of 12. I attended international schools in Singapore, Indonesia, and London before returning home to earn my degree in International Development Studies from UC Berkeley.

I am passionate about justice and equality and worked as a project manager for Wikipedia and as a writer for a USAID-funded environmental program.

For over a decade, I have been dedicated to education, earning my Post-Graduate degree in International Education and a variety of certifications in mindfulness, yoga, and curriculum implementation.

I am committed to fostering alternative learning environments rooted in integrity, empathy, and empowerment—values that reflect both my personal journey and professional mission to prepare students for our interconnected world.

Why I love my work

As a child, I was a high-achiever but under the surface, I was drowning in overwhelm. I didn't know how to manage my time or set priorities, which impacted my confidence and self worth. I needed a mentor.
Today, I hope to be that mentor for others.

I strive to give my students the skills and confidence they need to express themselves and meet their learning goals.
It is a total privilege to work alongside young people and witness their growth.
I am so grateful for all of my students!
